How difficult is Pure~Life Adventures? Do I have to be in good shape? Do I need previous experience?

You will be expected to participate in physical activities and you need to be in good health and average physical condition. No previous experience is necessary-a positive attitude is all that you need to be successful.
What is the food like? Are there Vegetarian options?

We provide hearty and nutritious group meals. Everything we do is for a reason and has a purpose within the course-this includes the food we provide. We can provide options for vegetarians or special dietary needs, but it is the student's responsibility to let us know before the trip commences. We will have high-energy foods like pastas, rice, oatmeal, and fruits in order to stay energized during your trip.
What is the size of each group?

Group size varies based on the needs of the School or Program. Ratios vary between 1 adult: 6-12 students. Most groups are co-ed.
Can I walk around barefoot?

All students will be required to wear some type of shoe/sandal within camp. While hiking all students will be required to wear ankle-high boots. Safety comes first in all situations and proper footwear can help prevent injuries.

What makes Pure~Life Adventures different from other programs?

Pure~Life Adventures is about challenging yourself and experiencing Mother Earth in a new way. You will learn Native American and outdoor skills. You will learn things that can be applied to your daily life at work, school, and with your family. This is taught in an environment that is fun and exciting.
What do I need to bring?

All of the group gear will be provided to you. You will need to bring some personal clothing, footwear, and personal items (toiletries,etc.). You will receive a gear list of the items that are necessary for your participation with our program.

The wilderness environment will never be fully predictable, but our professional staff will ensure that our activities are as safe as human resourcefulness can make them. |
